New Venture Creation deals with issues relating to the development, formation and financing of new businesses from a university, research institute or public body perspective. The course looks at the knowledge and skills required to develop a spin-out into a sustainable business ready to hand over to new management.

This course is aimed at those with more than six month’s experience in technology transfer and consequently a working knowledge of contracts, IP mechanisms and agreements will be assumed. Additionally we would welcome any delegates who are currently involved in research and are interested in creating their own spin-out company.
