Course Content
The identification, assessment, development and commercialisation of healthcare technologies include a number of areas and considerations which are unique and different. Those already working in technology transfer but who wish to include healthcare as a specific market will need to be aware of these differences. This interest may be due to increasing interactions with healthcare as new technology opportunities are identified and developed into healthcare products.
The focus of this 2-day course is on the issues around identifying, developing and marketing technologies in the areas of medical devices, diagnostics, treatment regimes and patient support technologies.
At the end of the course attendees will both understand and have the confidence to operate in the area of healthcare technology transfer, and will have gained both an understanding and access to a network of colleagues working in this area.
In common with other Praxis courses, all sessions are led by experienced volunteer practitioners. The course will comprise taught sessions, case studies and an opportunity to discuss your own experiences.
