Wilhelmus J Wytenburg
Wilhelmus J Wytenburg was born near Ottawa in Canada, and received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Cambridge, UK. He then held a post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University, California, USA, before joining the patent department of the private practice firm of Morrison & Foerster LLP, in Palo Alto, California, USA. He qualified to practice before the USPTO, and was actively involved in patent prosecution and litigation from 1992 to 1999. In 1999, he emigrated to the UK, and joined the private practice firm of Mewburn Ellis LLP in London. He is a UK Chartered Patent Attorney and is awaiting entry on the European Patent Office List of Professional Representatives. He handles patent matters in chemistry, particularly pharmaceuticals.
