Stuart Mckissock
Stuart Mckissock has been the Senior Manager of the Grants and Contracts Team, within Research and Enterprise, at the University of Glasgow, since January 2000. He is responsible for managing the University's research grants and contracts, patent portfolio and the policy, mechanisms and processes for costing and pricing of research.
Research and Enterprise support 3,500 grant and contract applications per year, with 2,500 awards valued at £110m.
His earlier experience includes Strategic Project Management, Research Administration, Purchasing and Supply.
Stuart has worked with the Scotland and Northern Ireland Forum for Environmental Research, was the Corporate Head of Purchasing at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, and for 14 years worked for the Ministry of Defence, in a variety of Project Management and Purchasing roles, with national and international industry, in the fields of Information Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Defence, Engineering and Aeronautics.
