Steve Keyworth

Steve Keyworth is a Director of Environment Systems Limited, a geographic and environmental information consultancy.

In 2003, with over ten year's experience of working in the public and private sectors, Steve set up Environment Systems as a 'spin out' from the University of Wales Aberystwyth. http://www.envsys.co.uk. Within Environment Systems Steve has two roles; director of business development and technical consultant. This builds on his strategic and technical consultancy skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing across rural and urban applications, together with an excellent knowledge of the geographic information industry in the UK.

Steve is a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society, past Chair of AGI (Association of Geographic Information) Cymru, advises/supervises various MSc and PhD studies at the Institute of Geography and Earth Sciences University of Wales Aberystwyth and is a member of Employer's Advisory Panel for the University of Leicester MSc in GIS.

Prior to working at Environment Systems he worked for Adas Consulting Limited as a consultant and business manager, and before that he worked for Adas (an executive agency for the then Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food).

In 2006, following national success in the Galileo Masters competition, Steve became a Director of EveryWhichWay, an innovative company developing information for people on the move.
