Mark Anderson
Mark is a solicitor and the principal of Anderson & Company, the Technology Law Practice TM. After qualifying as a barrister in 1983 he gained experience as an in-house lawyer and in the IP department of Bristows in London, until he formed Anderson & Company (solicitors) in 1994.
Anderson & Company's main areas of work include IP licensing, R&D collaborations and general commercial transactions. His regular clients include technology-based companies and several leading UK universities. Recent projects include:
- advising a consortium of UK universities on a bid to the MOD for a long-term management contract
- advising Imperial College Innovations Limited on a licensing agreement with a spin-out company, Thiakis Limited
- a large licensing transaction between a Canadian biotech company and a German company
- numerous clinical trials, manufacturing and CRO agreements
software licensing and distribution agreements for a large IT services company
- web-hosting agreements for a computer games company
