Luke is a solicitor in the intellectual property department of Wragge & Co LLP. Before qualifying as a lawyer in 1994, Luke gained a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Leeds. He has experience of both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law and specialises in the life sciences sector. Luke has acted in numerous collaboration and licensing deals for, amongst others, the Japanese pharmaceutical company Eisai, Astex Technology, Cambridge Antibody Technology Group, the National Institute for Biological Standards and Controls, the MRC, several UK universities and Midtech, the regional NHS technology transfer organisation. Luke is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and Wragge & Co LLP is a member of the BioIndustry Association, the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry and UNICO. Other interests include fly fishing and running.
