Dani Salvadori is Head of Marketing and Enterprise at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, one of the constituent colleges of the University of the Arts London. Her remit is to increase income through knowledge transfer, collaborative projects and fundraising. After a degree in Physics from Imperial College, University of London, she worked as an arts manager in theatre, dance, international festivals and international cultural exchange. She moved to Central Saint Martins in 1994 as Business Manager of the trading arm of the College, London Artscom Ltd. After building that up to an annual turnover of more than £2 million she was appointed as Head of Marketing and Enterprise in 2002. Since then income from knowledge transfer has grown to £4.2 million pa and the college has established the Innovation Centre: Arts, Communication, Fashion, Design with £3 million start-up support from HEIF and the London Development Agency. Dani managed the first three years of its operation and was instrumental in raising the start-up support.
