Andy Lockett is a lecturer in Strategic Management at Nottingham University Business School. He received his B.A (Economics) from Manchester University, M.A. from UMIST and Doctorate from Nottingham University. His primary research interests straddle the areas of strategy, entrepreneurship and focus on the economic and strategic implications of technological change. His work has been published in management and economics journals such as Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies,Research Policy, Journal of Business Venturing, OMEGA: The International Journal of Management Science, Small Business Economics, Journal of Technology Transfer, Journal of Strategic Marketing, Venture Capital, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing. Also, he is on the editorial board of the Journal of Management studies and the Journal of Technology Transfer.
Andy (with Mike Wright and Ajay Vohora) is an author of the first Annual UNICO-NUBS Survey on University Commercialization Activities and is currently conducting a number of research projects in the area of university technology transfer and, in particular, spin-out activity.
