Alan Bentley
Alan is part of a team of licensing professionals dedicated to the commercialization of medical device technologies resulting from Cleveland Clinic research. His specific focus is in cardiovascular devices and products. Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic, Alan was the Associate Director of the UVA Patent Foundation, where he played a principal role in overseeing the daily operations of their licensing operation. Alan has been a registered Patent Agent since 1999. Alan received his masters degree in physics from the University of Virginia, and received separate bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering and in physics from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
