Susanne Westfold-Scott
Susanne has worked in the field of university research and consultancy contracts for over 15 years covering the broad range of sponsor groups and their terms from charitable to industrial contracts. Much of this work has involved international companies with particular focus on Japan in the early 1990's and later European consortia with their mix of university and industrial partners. Susanne joined UCL’s Office of Sponsored Contract Research in 2001 to head up the Industrial Contracts office which included the contracting of consultancy work with industrial clients. In late 2002 Susanne was appointed to set up an independent consultancy company for the support and promotion of all private consultancy work undertaken by UCL staff. Since its commenced trading on 1 August, 2001, UCL Consultants Limited has grown in staff and turnover negotiating and managing contracts from the simple to the multi-party with both national and international clients.
