Leigh Davidson
Leigh is a Partner in the Corporate and Technology group at Lindsays. Previously from Dundas & Wilson and Microsulis Medical Limited, a medical devices company where she was the sole in-house corporate lawyer, Leigh has a wealth of experience in relation to IP strategy and commercialisation of technology. She is English and Scots law qualified and her clients range from biotech SMES to leading research institutions and universities, evidencing an ability to understand research and see commercialisation opportunities from different perspectives.
Leigh spent a period of time seconded to ITI Life Sciences at its inception to assist the team with the completion of various large-scale, high profile life sciences programmes. In addition, she has recently completed a lengthy secondment to the University of St Andrews as Head of the Research Funding Office (RFO) where she was able to build on her knowledge and experience of the legal aspects associated with the work of a technology transfer office.
