Jake Micallef
Jake Micallef is the Operations Director for Simfonec - the Science Enterprise Centre for the Royal Veterinary College, Kings College London, Queen Mary University of London and City University. Trained as a physical chemist, Jake gained 17 years experience leading R&D in diagnostics with the World Health Organisation, before founding 3 healthcare companies in diagnostics and molecular biology including one university spin-out. He has experience of equity fund raising, marketing, business development, initiating and managing operations and manufacture in the healthcare sector.
