Jackie Maguire
Jackie Maguire is the Chief Executive of Coller IP Management. She has director level experience in operations, marketing and business development, full P&L management, operations, sales, marketing and consultancy. With 20 years’ technology transfer, commercialisation and consultancy experience, Jackie has a sound strategic ability combined with a technical and scientific background, a clear vision for commercialising intellectual capital/property/assets and knowledge of a wide range of industrial processes including power generation, engineering, environmental technologies, ceramics and metals manufacture.
It is Jackie’s strategic vision for IA to be recognised as a tradable asset and for it to be an important item on board agendas. Jackie is a physicist and chartered engineer by background. She is an enthusiastic marketer and business developer with hands-on experience of taking new services to market, launching two businesses and several £multi-million collaborative Government-industry-university technology transfer programmes. Jackie has led many successful proposals, projects and workshops to and for commercial clients in a range of industry sectors in the UK and internationally. She has excellent networking, interpersonal and communications skills and an ability to train, motivate and lead businesses and teams.
Jackie specialises in productising services and concentrates on realising value from non-tangible assets. Jackie also has a wide appreciation of the issues associated with the commercialisation challenges faced by enterprises. She has extensive experience in the use and interpretation of landscape analysis. In particular, she is providing IP consultancy support to a range of clients making investment decisions and helping them to evaluate their IP and intellectual capital.
