Helena is an associate in the commercial practice of international law firm Eversheds. Since qualifying as a lawyer in 2001 she has specialised in advising on and negotiating commercial contracts.
Helena's clients, both from the private and public sector, include plcs, banks, local authorities, government agencies and universities. She acts for both procurers and suppliers of services and advises on a wide range of commercial contracts including outsourcing, procurement and supply contracts, consultancy arrangements, management arrangements, financial services related arrangements and data protection.
She has advised a number of universities, HE and FE institutions and governmental agencies operating in education sector. That includes assisting universities with their commercial activities.
Her experience includes: acting for University of Derby in relation to its international agency arrangements, various FE colleges on their partnering arrangements and accreditation agreements; acting for the National College for School Leadership (an agency of the Department for Children, Schools and Families) on a variety of outsourcing and related contracts.
