Andrew Waldron is Head of Legal and Company Secretary at Cancer Research Technology Limited (CRT). CRT is the wholly owned subsidiary of Cancer Research UK, the UK's largest independent funder of cancer research. In addition to undertaking technology transfer and commercialisation activities for Cancer Research UK, CRT also acts for a number of other cancer research charities and a number of overseas cancer research institutes. Andrew heads a team of five lawyers at CRT. Before joining CRT in 2001, Andrew was a partner with a City of London law firm. Andrew has degrees in law (including an LLM in intellectual property law) and molecular biology. Andrew has spoken regularly on topics concerning licensing and collaborations in the life sciences sector at C5 and other conferences.
