Alan Grisedale
As a member of the Commercial Services Team, Alan advises on a broad range of contractual relationships and issues, encompassing PFI/PPP, complex outsourcing and facilities management arrangements, the preparation of bespoke trading terms and agency and distributorship agreements.
Alan provides advice and assistance to a cross-section of both public sector and private organisations and is able to recognise the issues of particular significance affecting the contractual stance taken by each. This enables the provision of a pro-active approach through appropriate drafting and negotiation.
Alan is a member of the IT and E-Business Group at Dickinson Dees and has significant experience advising organisations in relation to their ICT requirements. Alan regularly advises on software licensing and development, systems purchasing, data protection and information security, IT and Telecoms outsourcing and the provision of services (and products) on-line.
Alan is a member of The Law Society and SOCITM, and regularly contributes to internal know-how and external client publications, and provides training to both colleagues and client organisations on all aspects of private and public sector contracting.
